Offering reliable yields these pears are sweet a juicy, being available from October to November. 
They have a pale green skin turning pale yellow with variable amounts of golden brown patches similar to those found in russet apples. Conference pears have juicy, smooth, pale yellow flesh occasionally tinged with pink near the core. Anyone biting into a conference pear when ripe knows to expect the intensity of the sweetness to hit as the flesh almost melts in the mouth. |
